Brian Watson, MBA, CPIM

Brian Watson is a seasoned business leader and educator with expertise in improving operational and financial performance in manufacturing and other sectors. Brian holds a BA in Economics from the University of Waterloo, and an MBA in Management from the Edinburgh Business School at Heriot Watt University. Brian holds the APICS professional designation CPIM, is a Past President of the Ontario Grand Valley Chapter, and has taught APICS Certification courses. Brian has also completed the Theory of Constraints training with the Goldratt Institute.
Brian began his career in the manufacturing sector where he held both materials and operations senior positions in various industries including: forestry equipment, food processing, electronic equipment manufacture, and the automotive sector. Brian concluded his manufacturing career after successfully leading and growing two automotive supplier plants for a US corporation here in Ontario. Brian then went on to serve as a Professor and Program Coordinator at Conestoga College in the Supply Chain & Operations Management Program. Brian is now the Director of the Magna Centre for Supply Chain Excellence at Conestoga College.
With Naviga, Brian will use his supply chain system thinking expertise along with his love of teaching to guide clients in the application of system thinking toward improving operational and financial performance and firm competitiveness.
