Les is a designer, educator, and facilitator who is passionate about product excellence. His design mantra is that products should be functional, durable and beautiful.
Les has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and brings with him over 30 years of industry experience in product development. His career began in automotive parts manufacturing and transitioned to hardware development in the tech industry, where he has brought several products from concept to production –leading design teams and as a senior developer. Les has run his own product development firm and worked in environments ranging from start-ups all the way to large corporations and government.
Since 2015, Les has focused on education and design facilitation, training hundreds of designers in GD&T, Solidworks, engineering drawing, and manufacturing processes.
